Two Brits walk into a post office….
I told you I could photograph these bookmobiles endlessly…so here’s another image captured that makes me swoon. Have been toiling away at keeping up with the rush of sales on Shophouse/esty. The Associated Press article I was interviewed for has been whirling around the country, surfacing in newspapers from sea to shining to sea and in between. Glorious!
Sidebar—when I was shipping said orders, in front of me in line at the post office were two Brits who began a conversation. He was from Hampshire and she was from Nottingham. They talked about how they miss home but would not leave living in California. The woman said: sometimes I don’t know where home is, I suppose home is right here. And she put her hand on her heart. So true.
