I absolutely love photographing the bookmobiles (have I said this before?). The way they are suspended in air, like acrobatic aerialists, and slowly spinning, giving me myriad poses slightly different from the one before it but equally compelling. I might never tire of this.
The first week back to work in this new year and part of that agenda is re-stocking Shophouse. The first new bookmobiles of 2012 just completed and listed. All had sold but one by the final days of the holiday countdown. And that last bookmobile was shipped to Belgium, another first.
